As a gold medalist ice skater, Cathy personally knows what it takes to be in optimum health and the have the focus and drive to win.
As a patient in the hospital, Cathy was told that she would never skate again. However, Cathy discovered that you can make different choices and gain different realities.
As a business owner, she built a mobile book business that generated over a million dollars in sales each year. She knows persistence and dedication and great customer service.

Cathy (Mishkin) Bliss and her partner Don Bonacci were Principle performers in Ice Follies and Holiday on Ice from 1973 -1978.
They starred in TV shows such as “Stars on Ice”, Merv Griffin and Midnight Special. Cathy and Don were featured in movies like “Roller Boogie” and on TV commercials such as Doublemint Gum.

Cathy and Don won many titles such as “World Professional Artistic Champions” and later when they traded in their skates for dance shoes they became “Disco Dance Champions of the United States.”
While on tour with the Ice Follies, Cathy began studying Energy Medicine, Body Electric, Kirlian photography, Rife machines. Cathy took many courses in the field of consciousness such as Silva Mind Control.
In 1980 Cathy learned Transcendental Meditation and moved to Fairfield Iowa to further study consciousness at MIU. There, she studied Physics, Quantum Mechanics, Science of Creative Intelligence and took advanced courses in the TM Sidhi program where she earned a certificate as an “expert in the field of consciousness.”
Cathy was in Fairfield Iowa and participated in 2 experiments that Prof Nelson talks about in his treatise “Promorpheus.” (see below for excerpt from Promorpheus) Cathy studied and practices Ayurveda, in her daily life.
Cathy nearly died in 1989 and was in critical condition in the IC unit at UNLV. The doctors told her that if she lived, she may never walk again and surely would never ice skate again.
Cathy began reading “Ayurveda, The science of Life” by Vasant Ladd. In this book she found an herb, coriander, that helped her deal with the excruciating painful symptoms of Interstitial Cystitis.
Pix of Lido de Paris – This a picture of Cathy at the famous Lido de Paris in 1990 – one year after being told she would never be able to skate again. She chose not to believe that prognosis.
In 1991 Cathy became the Public Relations Director at Meadowlark Health Center.
Cathy says, “I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work for a year with Dr. Evarts Loomis at his groundbreaking retreat ‘Meadowlark” in Hemet CA. Evarts was known as the “Father of Holistic Health” and people that had been told they would never recover went to Meadowlark for a life changing experience. Evarts believed in “Medicine for the Whole Person” (a book he co-authored with Rev. Sig Paulson) and Meadowlark had programs for the body, mind and spirit. Clients either were on a supervised fast or had organic meals and there was color therapy and homeopathy and much more.
Cathy worked for 12 years with Books Are Fun and built the business from the ground up. She produced over a million dollars in sales for many years.
Cathy is passionate about the EPFX-SCIO and has taken many trainings thru Quantum Alliance, as well as ones with Gage Tarrant and Bill Cunningham. She will be at the 2006 Quantum Congress of Masters in Mexico.
Cathy will be setting up monthly Demos in San Diego, CA.
Cathy is married and resides with her husband and animals in San Diego, California.
She has 2 sons that are also in Holistic Health Profession.
Daniel Schmachtenberger HHP has a private practice in Encinitas, CA and teaches Nutrition, Herbology and Anatomy at Body Mind College. He got his Massage Certification at age 13!
James Schmachtenberger owns Body Mind College – School of Massage and Holistics and also Body Mind Clinic – the winner of Best Massage in San Diego for many years running. James bought Body Mind College on his own when he was 18 years old.
